Anna K.L. Butts
Anna is a life-long creator with an appreciation of all art forms and an affinity for ceramics. She continues to refine her skills through various workshops and began a technical apprenticeship under the mentorship of Dawna in Nov 2023. Inspired by forms and concepts found in nature, she combines abstract and illustrative elements. Her work is mindful, methodical, and yet often experimental. Anna is excited to share her artistic development and invites you to join her on this journey of heartfelt expression in clay and beyond 🚀.
Jess Kellogg
Jess is a multimedia artist working primarily in ceramics. Influenced by her upbringing in rural Tennessee and years of travel, her work draws from nature, cultural exchange, and human connection, exploring themes of community, vulnerability, and whimsy through organic form and texture. She has spent time as an atelier under Dawna Magliacano. Jess is a member of the Stones River Craft Assoc., Rutherford Arts Alliance, M’boro Art League and the Smyrna Art Co-op. Having fun and continuing to learn are essential to her creative process.
Heather Holmes
Heather is an emerging artist who enjoys working in sculpture, acrylic painting, quilting and decorated royal icing cookies. She approaches each project with openness and a love of learning, valuing the joy found in the creative process. Heather looks forward to continuing her growth as she discovers where inspiration leads next.
Haniyfa Muhammad Branka
Haniyfa is a multidisciplinary mixed-media artist exploring identity, lineage, and human experience. Working across 2D and 3D media, including ceramics, metal, fiber, and collage. She approaches material investigation as both concept and method. Her sculptural, layered compositions reflect memory, history, and cultural inheritance within a broader collective framework. She serves as Board President of the Murfreesboro Art League, sits on the board of the Buchanan Arts Center, and is a member of the Smyrna Artist Co-op, local plein air groups, and TN Craft.
Dorothy J. Stevens
Dorothy started her art journey in 2014. Her primary art forms are Oil and Pastel painting. Her love of nature and country scenes contribute to her landscape subjects. In her portraiture of people and pets she strives to capture the soul of her subject through their eyes. Dorothy continues her journey in art by attending workshops and learning from the many talented art teachers in Middle Tennessee. She is a member of the Murfreesboro Art League and the Portrait Society of America. Dorothy loves doing commission work and working with other local artists.
Shelby Grau
A Tennessee native and new member of the local artistic community. Shelby is a neurodivergent mixed media artist whose work shifts between acrylic, gouache, cyanotype, leather, and other tactile mediums. Her creative process is shaped by the natural world, evolving perceptions of color, and emotional experiences. Stemming from sensory awareness and intuition, her practice is responsive and continually evolving. She is happy to be here and create.
Joe “Mag” Magliacano
Joe is a multimedia artisan, creative engineer and owner of Acorn Haven Studio. He earned a BEEE from Manhattan University and is a member of the Stones River Craft Association and Rutherford Arts Alliance. He embraces artists and artisans of all mediums; supports new concepts and processes, and a balance of sustainability with nature to our various environments. He welcomes classical, traditional and new techniques; as well as the visitors of Acorn Haven Studios.

Kaitlin Savage
Kaitlin Savage is a ceramic artist with a focus on hand-built, functional pots. She earned her BFA from MTSU in 2016 and has been a full time artist since 2020. Mary Ann May
Mary Ann May lives to paint. Home is Middle Tennessee where she is inspired by the natural beauty around her.
